Fourni Beach:
Fourni being is an exclusive beach that is being visited by few people all year round . The beach is located at a distance of seventy eight kilometres from the Rhodes city.
Fourni Beach is one of the picturesque beaches on Rhodes Island. However, due to the large distance from Rhodes city and its remote location the beach is never really crowded.

Gradually the narrow road even outs and meets a small dead end of a small pine forested area.

The deck portion of the beach has many cafés and cantinas that offer fresh snacks, juices, fruits, beers, soft drinks and other light refreshments. There is also a small rock formation here that provides a good shade for the sun.
Appealing pine trees along with rocks and rolling waves of the sea on the beach attracts many tourists. The beach is very peaceful and is ideal for relaxing during Rhodes Holidays. This beach doesn’t carry any proper arrangements for water sports activities but it offers sunbathing and relaxing activities under the pleasant breezing environment.
Activities on the Beach:
In order to enjoy yourself, you can even walk along the beach. As the beach is secluded, calm and peaceful mostly the elders and couples prefer it to spend good time together.
In order to enjoy pleasant breeze, the beach also offers swimming activities in the splashing waters. The water is wavy but very clear. Comparative to other developed beaches, this beach offers calm and peaceful environment.
There are no noisy clubs, large hotels, restaurants and bars. You must visit this beach to explore its natural beauty before it is developed and equipped with large hotels and clubs.
Reaching the beach:
There are several ways to access the Fourni Beach. One can take a cab to the beach. However we suggest that you rent a motorbike or a car as the beach is far from the Rhodes town. You can reach the beach through Monolithos which is found just at a distance of 3 kilometres in the southwest of the village.
Comparative to the other noisy and crowded beaches, Fourni Beach is a calm and tranquil place for Rhodes Holidays. In order to access this beach easily, you are suggested to rent the nearby Rhodes Town Hotels and Rhodes Accommodation.
